Full Biography: Mikayla is a sophomore psychology premed major and Spanish minor. She grew up as a military child and has lived in numerous places including Texas, Kansas, South Korea, Alabama, New York and South Carolina. Her hometown, however, is Columbia, SC. She has been singing for as long as she can remember and was well involved with the prestigious traveling choir at her high school and has starred in musicals including Hairspray, High School Musical, Into the Woods, and Man of La Mancha. She traveled to Italy and Austria with her high school choir and sang in many historical sites and even got to sing for the Pope in the Vatican City on New Years day. Takenote is already becoming such a big part of Mikayla's life and she is just so happy that she is able to be apart of the group starting her freshman year of college. Besides Takenote, Mikayla is involved with Women's Choir, FCA, Neuroscience club, and Habitat for Humanity here at Clemson. When she is not singing, Mikayla can be found spending her time helping others, with friends, traveling to different places, or cheering on Tiger athletes for different sporting events. In her spare time, Mikayla enjoys listening to music and dancing, going to see different theater productions or movies, working out, and trying new foods at restaurants. She is truly excited about what Takenote has to offer and cannot wait to see what this experience will bring her!
